Episode 1 of Mrs. Sara Claus Holiday Baking Series and in this episode, I dive into the best cranberry cake I have ever had. This is an amazing cake for holiday breakfast, Christmas dinners and an everyday cake during the holidays.

1/2 cup half and half

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 cup butter at room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg, at room temperature

3/4 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 tsp almond extract

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 cups all purpose flour

2 cups whole cranberries, you can use frozen, but don’t thaw. (Fresh is better)

2 Tbsp sparkling sugar
